Update on cryptic WWE teaser videos
It doesn’t look like WWE is teasing any kind of big return with its recent social media campaign
Over the weekend, WWE began posting cryptic teasers of unidentified stars walking. Only their shoes can be seen in the videos and there has been no official reveal yet on who these wrestlers are. But WrestleVotes reports that the videos are actually for a WrestleMania 42 promo that will be released soon.

PWInsider reports that some major WWE names — including Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns — were at company headquarters recently filming material for what is likely to be this promo video.
Allegiant Stadium is hosting WrestleMania 42 on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026, making this the second straight year that WrestleMania has been held at the Las Vegas venue. New Orleans was originally supposed to be the host city until WWE made the decision to bring Mania back to Vegas instead.
New Orleans will still be hosting a future WrestleMania, though there is no year attached yet. It will not be in 2027 either, as Saudi Arabia is getting WrestleMania 43 that year.
Two-day combo tickets for WrestleMania 42 are already on sale. This promo video could include information regarding the on-sale date for individual tickets.
