Update on Lucha Libre AAA creative team

In the new issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Lucha Libre AAA’s creative structure following WWE’s acquisition of the promotion.
Recently, it was revealed that The Undertaker has become one of the driving forces behind the scenes in AAA. Meltzer notes that Paul “Triple H” Levesque is leading creative for the lucha libre promotion with Jeremy Borash, Undertaker, Konnan, and AAA executive Dorian Roldan being his main creative help.
“The new AAA creative structure is that the people in charge of creative is Paul Levesque at the top, with his main creative help being Jeremy Borash, Mark Calaway (Undertaker), Charles Ashenoff (Konnan) and Dorian Roldan,” Meltzer wrote.
“The key producers for the brand are now Matt Bloom, Pete Dunne, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Jack Melendez (Moody Jack), Juan Rivera (Savio Vega), Jose Cordero (Lince Dorado) and one other person whose name I don’t know.”
Meltzer notes that Shawn Michaels has also provided input to Levesque for AAA, though Michaels is not significantly involved because he’s so heavily invested in his NXT duties.
WWE first announced its acquisition of AAA back in April with the deal then officially being finalized last month.
The next WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event is happening in Las Vegas next Friday (September 12). Dominik Mysterio challenging El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship is the only match that’s been confirmed so far.
