Update on Rhea Ripley following injury suffered at WWE Japan Supershow
Rhea Ripley is dealing with an injury.
Ripley teamed with IYO SKY against the Kabuki Warriors on both nights of WWE’s back-to-back shows in Tokyo on Thursday and Friday. During her match on Friday night, Ripley caught SKY as she was being thrown over the top rope to the floor and came up with a bloody nose. According to fan reports, Ripley was escorted to the back afterward.
Our own Bryan Alvarez reports that Ripley suffered a broken nose on the move.
“Rhea broke her nose on the house show loop,” Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X.
Despite the injury, Ripley did make it back out for the closing moment of Friday’s show in Tokyo, where AJ Styles had a special message for the live crowd after what will likely be his last match in the country.
