Update on Seth Rollins after WWE Raw angle

The wrestling world is back on Seth Rollins injury watch after the big angle that closed Monday’s Crown Jewel fallout edition of WWE Raw.

At the end of the episode, the rest of The Vision betrayed its leader, attacking Rollins and kicking him out of the group. The turn started with Bron Breakker laying out Rollins with a spear. Bronson Reed then decided to join in on the attack as well, with Paul Heyman looking shocked at what went down. The final shot of the episode was Breakker, Reed, and Heyman posing over a fallen Rollins.

Now, a photo posted to social media has fans questioning if Rollins is dealing with an injury that contributed to WWE’s decision to have this angle happen now. The photo — which was posted by a fan and was taken between Crown Jewel: Perth and Raw — shows Rollins with his arm in a sling.

Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes at Saturday’s PLE to become the men’s Crown Jewel Champion for 2025. There was a coast-to-coast spot during the match where Rollins looked like he could have been hurt. On the PLE post-show, Rollins called it a rough landing and said there could be long-term ramifications.

Of course, any injury to Rollins will have fans questioning whether it’s actually legitimate after the ruse he and WWE attempted to pull off at SummerSlam, where Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the World Heavyweight Championship after weeks of faking a knee injury.

CM Punk is the new number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship after winning a triple threat match in the main event of Raw today. WWE hasn’t announced a date for when he’ll challenge Rollins, but the match has been expected to headline Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

Breakker also has his eyes on the World Heavyweight Championship, posing with the belt as Raw ended and then taking it with him after the show went off the air.
