Update on WWE Unreal Netflix viewership | Exclusive
The latest season of WWE Unreal on Netflix is not performing as well as the previous two seasons.
Dave Meltzer addressed the viewership for season three of the series during the post-AEW Dynamite edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, now available for subscribers.
Meltzer says the third season failed to rank among Netflix’s 10 most-viewed shows in any geographical market.
Meltzer said:
“The number 10 television show for the week was 1.5 million views, which would be probably 2.2 million worldwide viewers, and this did not hit that.”
He added:
“The second season made the top 10 in a lot of markets. This one made the top 10 in zero markets. It did not make the top 10, so it’s under 1.5 million views, which is way, way down from season two. The reality is, the first season was big, real successful. The second season was certainly moderately successful, if not genuinely successful, and this one is unsuccessful, very unsuccessful compared to the other two seasons.”
The third season of the Netflix reality series debuted on July 21, 2026. All five episodes were released on the same day.
Meltzer also discussed the longer shelf life that WWE Unreal has compared to episodes of WWE Raw.
Meltzer said:
“The one thing with Unreal is that it’s not a show that is only viewed in the first week, or even mainly be viewed in the first week, like, say, Raw or SmackDown, where they still will have viewership after the first week, but the vast majority will be in the first week. The vast majority will be in the first couple days. Unreal, it’s a lot longer shelf life. The second season was way, way down from the first, but by the end, it did pretty decent numbers.”
