Update on Seth Rollins after WWE Crown Jewel injury

The extent of Seth Rollins’ injury won’t be known until he goes in for surgery.
Rollins was injured on the coast-to-coast headbutt spot in his match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel last week. Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez addressed the latest news on Rollins’ status on last night’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.
“He’s having surgery. That’s a hundred percent,” Meltzer said. “They don’t know all the damage in his shoulder and they will find out the damage when they open him up and when they do the surgery we’ll have an idea.”
Meltzer also noted that WWE is hopeful Rollins will be able to return in time for WrestleMania.
“I guess the best way to put it is they hope he’ll be okay for WrestleMania, there’s no way of knowing one way or the other today whether he will be or not. But, he’s out for months, for sure, which we already knew.”
Bron Breakker attacked Rollins in the closing moments of WWE Raw last week. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is scheduled to give an update on Rollins on this coming Monday’s show.
