Updated WWE SmackDown lineup: Five new additions

The lineup for tonight’s WWE SmackDown has several new additions.

SmackDown is taking place from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas tonight. As was already announced, the show will feature the Last Time is Now tournament finals between Gunther and LA Knight. Appearances by Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa have now been added to the card, along with two women’s division matches and a United States title open challenge.

– We’ll find out what’s next for WWE Champion Rhodes after his team was on the losing side of the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. It looks like his feud with Drew McIntyre will be continuing, with McIntyre tweeting out a video saying he intends to be at SmackDown despite general manager Nick Aldis attempting to suspend him in storyline.

“I’ll be at SmackDown tonight,” McIntyre said. “Screw you, Nick. Screw you, Cody. Drew McIntyre is for the people.”

– In his appearance, Sikoa will address the end of last week’s episode where he was attacked by Uncle Howdy. The angle ramped up the feud between Sikoa’s Family Treet and the Wyatt Sicks.

– WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill will face Alba Fyre of the Secret Hervice in a non-title match. Along with that, Alexa Bliss vs. Kairi Sane is set to take place. Bliss & Charlotte Flair are attempting to get back into title contention after losing the Women’s Tag Team Championship to Sane & Asuka.

– Ilja Dragunov will continue his United States Championship open challenge series against a yet-to-be-revealed opponent. His most recent defense was a victory over JD McDonagh.
