VIDEO: CM Punk returns to the room where he walked out of WWE

Before appearing at a press conference earlier this week ahead of his fight against Mickey Gall at UFC 203, CM Punk made a point to return to the scene where one of the most important moments of his career took place.

In the latest episode of UFC 203 Embedded, Punk stopped by the room at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, where he told Vince McMahon and Triple H that he was leaving WWE in January of 2014.

Later in the video, Punk interacts with Gall after making weight for their fight and faces off against his opponent at the ceremonial weigh-ins.

Punk will make his mixed martial arts debut tonight in the same building where he walked out of WWE. In an interview with Ariel Helwani earlier this week, Punk noted the coincidence and called it “poetic.”

The full UFC 203 Embedded episode five video is available to watch below. Punk returning to the room where he left WWE starts at 1:37.
