VIDEO: LaVar Ball’s WWE appearance was as ridiculous as expected

While a good portion of the Raw audience likely didn’t know who LaVar Ball was prior to his appearance on tonight’s episode, they’re certainly more familiar with him now.

And after his segment on Miz TV, LaVar is probably going to be just as divisive to pro wrestling fans as he is to the rest of the general public. LaVar was his usual outlandish self from the moment he made his entrance and it never let up.

LaVar came out with his youngest son LaMelo (who is part of UCLA’s 2019 basketball recruiting class) before Lonzo Ball entered in front of a Staples Center crowd for the first time since being drafted second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers last week.

Miz made a reference to partnering with the Ball family’s “Big Baller Brand,” but LaVar said that he was aiming a bit higher. As part of the segment, things got heated between the two until Dean Ambrose made his way down wearing a Big Baller Brand shirt for a six-man tag as he teamed with Heath Slater & Rhyno against Miz, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas.

The segment is sure to get a lot of attention from ESPN and other sports media outlets. Video of it is available to watch below:
