Vince McMahon to appear and 'shake things up' on WWE Raw

Vince McMahon will be making an appearance on Monday's episode of Raw.

WWE announced the news via Twitter this afternoon: "BREAKING: This Monday night, @VinceMcMahon returns to #RAW to shake things up!"

Monday's Raw is taking place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California and is the post-TLC episode of the show. At TLC, Braun Strowman is scheduled to face Baron Corbin in a tables, ladders, and chairs match. The stipulation is that the match will determine Corbin's fate as Raw's on-screen authority figure. If Corbin wins, he'll become the permanent general manager. if Strowman wins, Corbin will lose all of his GM power.

Strowman vs. Corbin also includes a stipulation where Strowman will challenge for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble if he defeats Corbin.

Corbin has been hyping that he'll win by forfeit if Strowman isn't able to wrestle at TLC after undergoing elbow surgery. On this week's Raw, it was mentioned that there were "rumors" of Strowman showing up at the pay-per-view.

This week's Raw also included a storyline where Seth Rollins cut a promo blaming Raw's problems on Corbin. Rollins mentioned that Raw's television ratings were at an all-time low, and Raw drew another modern era record-low viewership number for this week's episode.

Vince McMahon's most recent appearance on WWE TV was at SmackDown 1000 in October.
