Women’s IC title match part of next WWE Raw lineup
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship will be on the line on the Monday, December 15 WWE Raw episode.
Women’s IC champ Maxxine Dupri will put the title on the line on next week’s Raw against Ivy Nile. The match was officially announced in a promo segment that aired during a commercial break on Raw on the US feed, but was shown to the international audience.
There were several other teases for next week’s episode as well, with both a Women’s World title defense, and a matchup of two of WWE’s most historically decorated tag teams hinted at.
Raquel Rodriguez asserted herself as the next challenger for Stephanie Vaquer’s Women’s World Championship by laying out Nikki Bella and confronting Vaquer in an in-ring segment on this week’s Raw.
Also teased, The Usos and The New Day will soon renew an old rivalry, with the winner likely next in line for a shot at AJ Styles and Dragon Lee’s World Tag Team titles. The two teams faced off in the ring on this week’s show, with The New Day referencing a match for next week in a later promo.
