Women’s Tag Team title match set for Monday’s WWE Raw

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross will defend their newly won Women’s Tag Team titles on Monday’s Raw.

WWE has announced that Asuka & Kairi Sane will challenge for Bliss & Cross’ titles on Monday’s episode. It’s taking place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is the post-SummerSlam edition of the show.

Bliss & Cross won the titles in a fatal four-way elimination match this past Monday. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay were the champions heading into the match and were eliminated first. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville were then the second team eliminated.

The finish was Bliss hitting a punch and Twisted Bliss on Sane and pinning her to win the titles. That came after Cross pushed Sane off the top rope when she was going for an elbow drop, then trapped Asuka in the ring skirt.

The four-way Women’s Tag Team title match was originally scheduled for SummerSlam but ended up being moved up to Raw.

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler is also official for Monday’s Raw. Ziggler will face Goldberg at SummerSlam.
