Women’s World Champion to address medical situation on WWE Raw
Women’s World Champion Naomi will address her medical situation in a new segment advertised for the Monday, August 18 WWE Raw.
Naomi was announced as not medically cleared for her scheduled title defense against IYO SKY on last Monday’s Raw episode. WWE told fans to stay tuned for further updates. The Women’s World Champion was also scheduled for a title defense at the Clash in Paris PLE on August 31 against Stephanie Vaquer, another bout in question. Naomi won the Money in the Bank contract this year and cashed in at WWE Evolution in July to win the World title.
The Naomi segment for Raw was advertised during Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode. A video promo for Monday’s show also featured Seth Rollins and The Vision, speculating as to who the group will target on Raw.
Already announced for Raw is a Penta vs. Xavier Woods grudge match.
