Women’s World title match booked for next WWE Raw

Three matches are official for the Monday, August 11 WWE Raw including a Women’s World Championship defense.

Naomi will defend the Women’s World title against IYO SKY in a one-on-one matchup on next week’s Raw. Naomi retained the title at SummerSlam on Sunday with a victory over SKY and Rhea Ripley in a three-way. The winner of next week’s title match will defend against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris on Sunday, August 31.

Also announced for next week, Becky Lynch will face Maxxine Dupri. The match stems from a backstage confrontation between Lynch, Dupri, and Natalya on this week’s Raw. Natalya posed the possibility of a match against Lynch, but Lynch ducked her and called out Dupri instead.

Sami Zayn vs Rusev is also set for next week’s episode. Rusev and Sheamus brawled backstage on this week’s show following the third match in their trilogy which went to a double countout. Zayn intervened in the brawl and got himself booked against Rusev.
