Wrestling world pays tribute to CM Punk and AJ Lee’s dog Larry

In the wake of Larry’s passing, personalities from around the world of wrestling have been offering their condolences to CM Punk and AJ Lee.

WWE.com posted an article on its front page on Tuesday with a picture of Punk and Lee with Larry. The article reads:

Larry, the beloved dog of WWE Superstars CM Punk and AJ Lee, has sadly passed away. 
Punk made the announcement on his Instagram page with an outpouring of support from his fellow Superstars as well as the WWE Universe.
Larry was a fixture backstage at WWE events, brightening up the locker room with his signature smile and his lovable attitude. 
WWE extends its condolences to Punk and Lee.”

PAWS Chicago, the no-kill shelter where Punk and Lee found Larry, posted a response to Punk’s announcement of Larry’s passing, saying they could not have imagined a better life for Larry than the one Punk and Lee gave him.

PAWS Chicago wrote:

“We couldn’t have dreamed of a better life or a better family to love and celebrate Larry. Sending you lots of love from all of us at PAWS, we are so sorry for your loss ❤️”

Several WWE wrestlers responded to Punk’s Instagram post as well.

“I’m so sorry,” wrote Jade Cargill.

“So sorry for your loss,” wrote Alexa Bliss, who has spoken about the hardship she dealt with after losing her pet pig Larry-Steve in 2021.

“Sending all the love,” wrote Zachary Wentz.

Elayna Black responded with a heart and sad emoji face.

“Sorry brother,” wrote Bully Ray.

“I’m so sorry for your loss. You gave him the best life🥺 hang in there,” wrote Jacy Jayne.

“I am soooo sorry ❤️‍🩹 Sending all my love,” wrote Kacy Catanzaro.

“I’m so sorry dude,” wrote Aleister Black.

“I am so sorry. He was adored by millions,” wrote Samantha Irvin.

“I’m so sorry for your loss 🥺. I hope you can find some comfort knowing he had a beautiful life filled with love because of you. Sending you a big hug champ. 🤍” wrote Stephanie Vaquer.
