Becky Lynch wrote: “I was crying tears of joy then and I’m crying tears of joy now! So well deserved! Congratulations”

Danhausen wrote: “Samuel Zaynhausen did it”

Triple H wrote: “From underdog to undisputed. Congrats to the NEW @WWE Undisputed Champion @SamiZayn! Never say never.”

Nattie wrote: “The impossible is possible. @SamiZayn reminded the world that it’s never too late to chase the dreams people told you were out of reach. He asked, “Why not me?” So…why not you? Why not now? More inspired than ever. Congrats, Sami. You deserve it.”

Matthew Rehwoldt wrote: “Underdog from the underground…now on top of the world. Congrats champ ❤️ Sami Zayn Forever”

The Miz wrote: “We’ve got another Grand Slam Champion. Congrats and welcome to the club. Well deserved.”

As previously covered, Kevin Owens wrote: “I’ve missed a lot of things I wish I hadn’t in the last 15 months because of this injury but today is, by far, the one I wish I had been there for the most. He has brought out the best in me as both an ally and a foe. That’s because he is THE best. When you’re consistently that good for that long, you become undeniable. Sami becoming WWE Champion was inevitable. He has deserved that moment for a very long time and I am so happy to see him finally get it. Now enjoy these pictures of me annoying him at various stages of our careers. The last one is him putting on my sock in a hotel room in the middle of nowhere in Texas because I thought I had broken my back the night before and could not move. He had to help me put on my boxers too. Look how happy he is… Now tell me he doesn’t deserve to be champion!”

Matt Hardy wrote: “I dig it. Wrestling is best when it’s unpredictable but still makes sense in the big scheme of things. Sami has been killing it the last few months & def deserving of a championship run. Congrats”
