WWE & AAA announce date and location for next Worlds Collide event

The next show between AAA and WWE has been announced.

Prior to the main event of Saturday’s Triplemania in Mexico City, it was announced that a second Worlds Collide show will take place on September 12 at the The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Tickets will go on sale this coming Friday.

The show has a start time of 10 pm ET, meaning it will air immediately after SmackDown. It was not announced where it be broadcast, though previous shows including Saturday’s Triplemania, aired on YouTube.

WWE held their first joint show between themselves and AAA back in June, only a couple of months after they announced the purchase of the longtime lucha libre promotion. In the main event, El Hijo del Vikingo defeated Chad Gable to retain the AAA Mega Championship.

The main event of Triplemania on Saturday saw Vikingo retain the Mega Championship again, this time defeating Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, and Dragon Lee in a four-way match. Mysterio was pinned after he was laid out by AJ Styles, who made a surprise appearance.
