WWE adds stipulation to Triple H vs. Batista at WrestleMania 35

WWE has added another stipulation to Triple H and Batista’s no holds barred match at WrestleMania 35.

A segment on tonight’s Raw set up that Triple H’s career will be on the line when he faces Batista at WrestleMania.

Batista didn’t appear on Raw, but there was an angle where Triple H read a letter from Batista’s lawyer. It said Batista wouldn’t compete at WrestleMania unless Triple H agreed to put his career on the line. Triple H agreed to the stipulation and accused Batista of trying to quit again with the letter. Triple H said he isn’t going to let Batista quit this time.

The build to Triple H vs. Batista officially began when Batista attacked Ric Flair and ruined Flair’s 70th birthday celebration segment on the February 25 episode of Raw. WrestleMania will be the first time Batista has wrestled since June 2014.

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey will host WrestleMania on April 7.
