WWE announces two matches for next week’s SmackDown
The lineup for the Friday, September 26 WWE SmackDown will include a triple threat match for the Women’s Championship.
WWE announced during this week’s SmackDown that next Friday’s episode will feature a triple threat match with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defending against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill.
The bout stems from a match on the September 12 SmackDown where Stratton defended against Cargill that ended in a double countout after Stratton missed a moonsault to the floor and Cargill speared her through the barricade. Jax then ran in and attacked both competitors.
Stratton is undefeated in 25 WWE matches in 2025 according to Cagematch, with 23 victories, one no contest, and one double countout.
Also set for next week, Giulia and Kiana James will face Michin and B-Fab in a tag team bout.
