WWE will be celebrating John Cena all throughout June.

The promotion announced "#CenaMonth" on Wednesday. The event coincides with the 20 year anniversary of his WWE television debut.

"Starting today, keep your eyes locked on WWE social platforms to celebrate all things John Cena," a WWE.com post reads. "The festivities include a brand-new episode of WWE Playback featuring The Cenation Leader breaking down his own debut, Cena-themed editions of WWE Top 10 and WWE Playlist, a bevy of rare and unseen photos, tons of classic throwback videos, and much more!"

Cena's first appearance on WWE programming occurred on the June 27, 2002 edition of Smackdown when he answered an open challenge issued by Kurt Angle.

The 16-time world champion commented on the anniversary of his WWE debut earlier this month in an interview with Adam's Apple.

"I know in WWE years I turn 20 pretty soon, so that's a pretty big thing," Cena said. "And from a pretty storied class of folks: Batista, Randy Orton, Brock [Lesnar] who kind of all turned 20 this year. I'm aware that that's coming around the corner and who knows?"
