WWE Draft Center show announced for first SmackDown Live

With the first regularly live edition of SmackDown debuting next Tuesday, WWE is doing all they can to build hype for the show.

WWE announced on Wednesday morning that in addition to the July 19th WWE draft episode, there will be pre- and post-shows for the event.

There will also be a companion show on WWE Network called WWE Draft Center Live during the airing of SmackDown to supplement the event. It will likely be a studio show breaking down that night’s draft picks. It is not known if any picks will be made on the Network.

The pre-show will air live at 7 PM EST leading up to SmackDown kicking off an hour later. That show will air for free on WWE’s digital platforms in addition to the Network. After SmackDown concludes, WWE Network will also air a post-show looking at that night’s draft.

Stephanie and Shane McMahon were named as Raw and SmackDown’s respective commissioners this Monday, and the announcement of each brand’s general manager will be made on next Monday’s edition of Raw.
