Report: WWE interested in signing new Bloodline family member
It’s long felt inevitable that Zilla Fatu would end up in WWE, and his addition to the company’s roster could be coming soon.
PWInsider reports that, amid talk of WWE being interested in him, Fatu was at the Performance Center today. The report does not state why Fatu was there. Paul Heyman recently voiced support for the son of late WWE wrestler Umaga, saying that the company should sign the 26-year-old Fatu at the first possible opportunity.
Fatu started wrestling training in 2022, entering the family business after a difficult past where he spent six years for an aggravated robbery that happened when he was 15. He’s been a champion for House of Glory, Reality of Wrestling, and Fourth Rope, along with having competed for GCW.
Because of his family history, Zilla Fatu’s heart is with WWE —
One of the highest profile matches of Fatu’s young career was against AEW World Champion MJF for House of Glory this February. Despite clashing with one of the promotion’s top stars, Fatu told Bootleg Kev that he doesn’t think he would entertain a potential offer from AEW because his heart is with WWE. Fatu pointed to his father Umaga’s history in WWE and the fact that his family members Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu are currently there.
The Bloodline saga continues to play out with Reigns and Sikoa having a staredown after Clash in Italy. It looks like we’ll again have warring versions of The Bloodline led by those two.
