WWE King & Queen of the Ring finals to air on ESPN
WWE Night of Champions 2026 this Saturday is set to kick off with the finals of King & Queen of the Ring.
During Raw today, WWE announced that the finals of both tournaments will take place during the first hour of Saturday’s PLE, which is being simulcast on ESPN. The entire show is airing on the ESPN Unlimited app in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
It wasn’t noted which match will be going on first and which will be happening second. The King of the Ring final pits Oba Femi against Jey Uso, while the Queen of the Ring finals has IYO SKY vs. Liv Morgan.
World title shots at SummerSlam are at stake in each tournament. Morgan, who already holds the Women’s World Championship, will attempt to become a double champion by facing WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam if she is able to win Queen of the Ring. Sky would have the option of facing either Morgan or Ripley.
There was a possible injury scare for Morgan at a house show over the weekend, but she appears to be fine and ready to compete at Night of Champions. She took part in a physical angle with Sky on Raw with no issues.
The King of the Ring winner has the option to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship (Roman Reigns) or Undisputed WWE Championship (Cody Rhodes). Rhodes is defending his title at Night of Champions in a triple threat match against Gunther and Sami Zayn.
Saturday’s PLE has a start time of 1 p.m. Eastern. Here is the announced card:
