WWE star Maxxine Dupri reacts to Stacy Keibler comparisons
Getting to work with Stacy Keibler in any capacity would be a dream come true for WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri.
To promote WrestleMania 42 single-night tickets going on sale, Dupri appeared on The Abe Kanan Show and was asked if Keibler is a dream feud for her given that they both have a background in cheerleading. Dupri responded by expressing how much she admires Keibler.
“Don’t get me started. First of all, I would literally combust of joy. Since I debuted, I have always been compared to her — and it is the greatest compliment in the world,” Dupri said. “First of all, those legs? Those legs? Are you kidding me? When she’s the bartender in ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ it’s my favorite episode. I am truly obsessed with her. Seeing her when she was inducted into the Hall of Fame, it was like seeing an angel in the flesh. Like, truly just the most euphoric, beautiful human. And I would be honored to ever step in the same ring with her.”
An actual match between the two would appear to be unlikely given that Keibler has not wrestled in two decades. Keibler is a recent WWE Hall of Fame inductee, though, having been honored as part of the class of 2023.
Dupri — a former NFL cheerleader and NBA dancer — won the Women’s Intercontinental title from Becky Lynch on the November 17 edition of Raw. She is widely considered one of the most improved wrestlers of 2025, with Dupri crediting that to how hard she’s worked in training.
