WWE NXT wrestler undergoing hip surgery
28-year-old WWE NXT wrestler Tyson Dupont has revealed that he’s undergoing hip surgery, via a social media update from the hospital.
In a video posted on social media straight from Dupont’s hospital bed, he announced his upcoming hip surgery and how he has been dealing with “pain” for the past year.
“Pushed through it to the best I could to make sure I didn’t miss any opportunities, but God’s timing – when it’s time, it’s time. So today we’re taking care of that. Minor setback for a major comeback. The Brick will be back in no time,” Dupont said. “But until then, best believe, the grind continues. We’re still chasing greatness because the best is always yet to come.”
Dupont is well known for his tag-team run with Tyriek Igwe. They were also members of Wes Lee’s group, High Ryze, before Lee was released last year.
While in a tag team with Igwe, the duo has hardly been featured on televised NXT programming. Dupont’s last match as a tag team dates back to a 19th December edition of NXT Live.
