WWE provides storyline injury update on LA Knight
WWE followed up on last week’s show-closing angle with a storyline injury update on LA Knight on Monday’s Raw.
Knight was attacked twice in the closing segments of the December 8 Raw, first by the masked attacker (revealed to be Austin Theory on this week’s show) in his main event match against Logan Paul, then again in the backstage area following the match when Bronson Reed of The Vision hit a Tsunami on Knight on the roof of a car.
WWE announced during this week’s episode that Knight had suffered a cracked sternum among other injuries, and will be out of action indefinitely.
Paul defeated Knight in last week’s Raw main event, then defeated Rey Mysterio in the main event of this week’s episode with the big reveal of Theory.
Theory has not been established as a full-fledged member of The Vision to this point, with Paul Heyman noting on this week’s Raw that his group is happy to accept help from the masked man if their priorities align, but that he is not in cahoots with Theory.
Steve Khan’s full report from this week’s Raw is available here.
