WWE pushes back date for Money in the Bank 2026

WWE Money in the Bank 2026

WWE has made an adjustment to its upcoming PLE calendar.

Money in the Bank 2026 was scheduled to take place this September, but the show has now been moved back one month. The new date is Saturday, October 10, with the PLE still being held in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center.

A reason for the change was not included in WWE’s announcement.

“WWE, in conjunction with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and Legends Global, today announced that Money in the Bank will now take place Saturday, October 10 — one month later than originally announced — at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans,” the company wrote.

“Money in the Bank features WWE’s biggest Superstars as they battle to earn a briefcase containing a contract for a championship match at a time and place of their choosing anytime within the next year.”

New Orleans hosting Money in the Bank is a make-good for the city, which was originally supposed to receive WrestleMania 43 in 2027 before that event was moved to Saudi Arabia. A future WrestleMania has still been promised to New Orleans, though no date is attached yet.

Tickets for Money in the Bank are going on sale to the general public on Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m. Eastern time. A pre-sale will begin one day earlier at that same time.

WWE PLE schedule for 2026 —

Money in the Bank 2026 was originally scheduled for late August, pushed back to September 6, and now has been moved back again to October. The show has traditionally been an early summer PLE but is following SummerSlam this year. Whether WWE will be adding another PLE between SummerSlam and Money in the Bank has not been announced.

Here is a look at the upcoming PLE schedule:

  • Saturday, June 27: Night of Champions at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2: SummerSlam at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Saturday, October 10: Money in the Bank at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana
