WWE Raw: Angle with Rusev and Lana’s engagement
WWE on Twitter mentioned that Rusev and Lana are now engaged, and that to learn more about it, watch Raw tonight.
That indicates with the word breaking over the weekend that they are going to turn it into storyline immediately.
It was expected that it would become storyline at some point.
WWE has already acknowledged the engagement on its web site.
Last week WWE did a television angle where Summer Rae asked Rusev to marry her and he accepted, but said the wedding wouldn’t take place until he won the WWE title first.
In storyline, the Summer Rae situation with Dolph Ziggler wasn’t followed up on last week. While Rusev and Lana were at odds, since the real life engagement, the storyline changed that Rusev really still wanted Lana and everyone knows it.
