WWE Raw fails to crack Netflix global top 10 for second straight week
WWE Raw on December 1 did not crack Netflix’s global top 10 rankings for TV shows again this week.
For the second week in a row, Raw was pushed out of the rankings primarily due to multiple seasons of the hit show Stranger Things taking 5 of the 10 spots.
The December 1 Raw ranked as the No. 9 show in the United States for the week. It did not crack the top 10 in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia or the United Kingdom.
The 10th spot in the rankings this week was occupied by a Matt Rife holiday special that did 4.6 million views, which is well above what Raw typically brings in for a week. The last time Raw ranked in the global top 10 was for the November 17 episode, which brought in 3.1 million views, the best the show had done in seven months. That show featured John Cena’s final Raw at Madison Square Garden.
Stranger Things Season 5 brought in 23,600,000 views for the streaming service this week. It was followed by a documentary on Sean Combs, which brought in 21,800,000 views. There was a significant drop after that, with Stranger Things Season 1 in third place with 8,200,000 views.
