WWE Raw video highlights: Ambrose returns, Heyman sets up Reigns

A big return closed last night's go-home edition of Raw.

Eight months after undergoing surgery for a torn triceps, Dean Ambrose returned on the last Raw before SummerSlam. The storyline was that Seth Rollins could have someone in his corner at the pay-per-view. And after Dolph Ziggler signed the contract for the match, Rollins appeared and brought Ambrose out. They laid out Ziggler and Drew McIntyre to close the show.

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar also set up Roman Reigns heading into Sunday. Heyman faked that he wanted to align with Reigns and, despite Reigns saying he didn't need Heyman's help, gave him an "agreement in principle" to look over. Heyman then sprayed Reigns in the eyes with pepper spray, leading to an attack by Lesnar.

Also on Raw, WWE aired a video paying tribute to Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Ronda Rousey attacked Alexa Bliss' personal security and was in Ember Moon's corner during a non-title match against Bliss, and The B-Team defended their Tag Team titles against Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt and The Revival.
