WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn’s family has suffered a tragedy.

LaShaunn shared on Instagram that a house fire on Wednesday, February 4, claimed the lives of her grandfather, grandmother, uncle, and cousin. The family has since launched a GoFundMe seeking $50,000 to assist with funeral expenses, as well as clothing, school supplies, and other necessities for children affected by the fire.

“My heart aches. Last night I lost my grandma, grandpa, uncle, and cousin in a house fire. We were at the scene til the very end.. My soul is hollow right now. Please pray for my family as we navigate this unbelievable nightmare. Planning 4 funerals and rebuilding is gonna be tough. My cousin, A family of 7 with 5 kids, are now displaced with nothing to their name. Anything helps even a repost. I’ve posted the gofundme link in my bio and I’ll also add it to my story. Thank you all so much.” LaShaunn wrote on Instagram.

As of this writing, several members of the wrestling community have donated, including Liv Morgan, who contributed $5,000. Additional donations have been made by WWE referee Shawn Bennett, Natalya, and Cathy Kelley.

The GoFundMe was posted by Jasmine Ivey and includes the following message:

“Title: Help My Family After a Devastating Fire

Our family was recently struck by an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating house fire took the lives of four of our beloved family members. We are heartbroken beyond words and now face the overwhelming challenge of arranging funerals for our loved ones while helping my cousin care for her five children, who thankfully survived the fire but lost everything.

The costs for funerals, memorial services, and related expenses are incredibly high, and our family cannot cover everything on our own. We are asking for help to ensure our loved ones are honored with the dignity and care they deserve.

At the same time, my cousin and her children are starting over with nothing. They are in immediate need of:

    •    Clothing, shoes, and toiletries for the children

    •    Emergency housing or temporary living assistance

    •    Food, school supplies, and basic necessities

  • Children’s clothing & shoe sizes:

    •    Deyonna (10 years old): Medium shirts | Pants 12/14 | Shoes Women’s 9

    •    Derriona (11 years old): 2X shirts | Pants 24 | Shoes 9½–10 (wider foot)

    •    Messiah (7 years old): Shirts 8/9 | Pants 8/9 | Shoes 11C

    •    Nevaeh (3 years old): Shirts 5/6 | Pants 6 | Shoes 6C

    •    Noah (1 year old): Clothes 18–24 months | Shoes 2C

We are asking for $50,000 to help cover funeral and memorial costs for our lost loved ones, as well as urgent needs for my cousin and her children as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Your generosity, prayers, and support will give our family a chance to grieve properly, honor those we lost, and help the children recover from this devastating tragedy.
