WWE reveals John Cena’s Elimination Chamber title challengers

With the Elimination Chamber less than two weeks away, WWE didn’t waste time building to SmackDown’s next pay-per-view on Tuesday night’s show.

Shane McMahon announced in the opening segment of SmackDown that AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, The Miz, and Dean Ambrose would challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match on February 12th.

The match was previously announced two weeks ago on SmackDown, with only the champion as a confirmed participant. Styles was added to the match on Monday after dropping the title to Cena at the Royal Rumble.

Randy Orton will challenge whoever walks out of Elimination Chamber as champion at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando after Orton won the Rumble match on Sunday.

There haven’t been any other matches announced for Elimination Chamber yet, but the condensed build to the show figures to pick up on tonight’s SmackDown. Ambrose challenging for the WWE title likely means that there won’t be an Intercontinental Championship match on the PPV.
