WWE reveals who will kick off next Raw

CM Punk is kicking off Monday’s Raw.
During a commercial on WWE SmackDown, the company revealed that Punk would be opening Monday’s show in Quebec City. This stems from the show-closing angle from this week’s show that saw Punk get laid out by Seth Rollins and the rest of The Vision.
At SummerSlam, Punk defeated Gunther to win the World Heavyweight title. However, his run with the title was cut short when Rollins came out and revealed that his injury was a ruse. Rollins attacked a weakened Punk and smashed him with the Money in the Bank briefcase, quickly cashing in and pinning Punk to become the new champion.
On Raw, Rollins was wrestling LA Knight for the title when CM Punk came in for the DQ, honing in on Rollins. Despite Jey Uso and Roman Reigns coming out for the save, the numbers were still too much and all three ended up being laid out as The Vision stood tall.
Already announced for Monday’s Raw is a Women’s World Championship match, with Naomi defending against IYO SKY.
WWE Raw lineup (August 10):
