WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event took place this weekend from Madison Square Garden in New York City, with the broadcast airing on Peacock in the United States and YouTube in most places globally.
Google Trends scores measure relative search (interest rather than the total number of searches) and the highest point in the selected location and period is assigned a score of 100. It’s not an exact science of knowing how much hype is around a certain event, but it’s a good indicator.
The Madison Square Garden event on July 18 appears to have reached Google Trends score of approximately 40 (correct as of writing pending any updates from Google’s systems). It’s worth noting that the July 2026 section of the graph is dotted (which you can see below), so under usual circumstances that score should be treated as the current reading rather than a final figure. But, in reality, the event has now taken place so interest will probably not spike again, so 40 out of 100 is probably the likely level.
“WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event” on Trends shows that the MSG card performed better in terms of Google Search interest against two events in 2025, but it was way down on the December 2025 show. It’s worth remembering that the December 13, 2025 iteration of the show was John Cena’s last ever match, so it will likely be some time before interest gets anywhere near that level again for an SNME show.
