WWE SmackDown card for next week
Three matches are official for the Friday, October 31 Halloween edition of WWE SmackDown.
As announced on this week’s episode, the United States Championship open challenge segment that has been a staple of the program in recent months will continue next week with Ilja Dragunov defending the US title.
Dragunov won the belt from Sami Zayn on last week’s SmackDown, then made his first defense on this week’s episode against Aleister Black.
Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss will also be in singles competition on next week’s show, facing Nia Jax.
Also announced, Carmelo Hayes will take on Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly in a one-on-one matchup.
Both the Hayes vs. Wilson and Bliss vs. Jax matchups were set up with backstage promo segments on this week’s SmackDown.
