WWE SmackDown draws best ratings since August

Friday night’s Royal Rumble go-home edition of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.475 million viewers on Fox, up 2.8 percent from the previous week. It’s the largest audience total for the show since August 25 of last year, which was a special tribute to Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk.

SmackDown topped all major network programming with a 0.71 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 14.5 percent from last week and is also the highest rating the show has done since the August 25 episode.

As compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown’s overall viewership was actually down 2.7 percent from last year’s Royal Rumble go-home show. The 18-49 rating was up six percent year-over-year.

For the month of January, SmackDown averaged 2.433 million viewers and a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up from the 2.346 million viewers and 0.58 demo rating the show averaged in January 2023.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown, along with the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was up 13.6 percent in overall viewers and up 24.6 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
