WWE SmackDown Preview: SNME NYC go-home show (07-16-2026)

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown takes place from the MVP Arena in Albany, New York. Unlike the last few weeks, nothing has been announced for this show as of yet.

The Albany show is the go-home show for this week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will see Cody Rhodes and CM Punk team in the main event to face Gunther and Sami Zayn. It’s very likely we’ll see at least Punk and Zayn on the show, although with SNME taking place from MSG on Saturday, Cody and Gunther are probably in New York State.

Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, CM Punk, Gunther and Trick Williams are all listed as “featured stars” on the company website for the show, but this does not guarantee that they will all appear.
