WWE SmackDown ratings down from season premiere

Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.253 million viewers on Fox. That’s down 6.8 percent from the previous week’s season premiere episode and is the second-lowest audience total for the show since September 8.

SmackDown finished first on network television with a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demo, but it was fourth on all of TV behind two MLB League Championship Series playoff games as well as an MLB post-game show.

SmackDown’s demo rating was down 4.8 percent from last week and is the second-lowest for the show since August 18.

As compared to the same week in 2022, SmackDown’s overall audience was up one percent while the 18-49 rating was up 13.5 percent.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s show was down 2.9 percent in overall viewers and down 6.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
