WWE SmackDown ratings down slightly for Survivor Series go-home show

The episode took place on the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend.

Friday night's episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.166 million viewers on Fox, down three percent from the previous week. It's the lowest audience total for the show since November 4.

SmackDown drew a 0.54 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 3.6 percent from the prior week. It was also SmackDown's lowest rating in that category since November 4.

SmackDown finished fifth on network TV in 18-49 instead of its usual spot on top. The show trailed college football coverage as well as a repeat airing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown's overall viewership was up 0.8 percent. Its 18-49 demo rating was down 5.8 percent, so the average viewership skewed older this year.

This Friday's SmackDown will move to FS1 due to Fox's coverage of college football.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Fridays where SmackDown aired on Fox. This week's episode was down 4.6 percent overall and down 1.8 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
