WWE SmackDown ratings down, still ranks first on all of TV

Friday’s Royal Rumble fallout edition of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.384 million viewers on Fox, down 6.3 percent from last week. It’s still the third-highest audience total for the show since September 23 of last year.

SmackDown topped all of television with a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demo, almost 20 percent ahead of the closest competition. That’s down nine percent from the previous week’s rating, which was SmackDown’s highest in over two years.

This is SmackDown’s third-highest rating in 18-49 since that same September 23 episode.

SmackDown also topped all English-language television with a 0.39 rating in the 18-34 demo.

As compared to the same week in 2022 (also the first SmackDown after the Royal Rumble), SmackDown was up 10.8 percent in overall viewers and up 19.6 percent in 18-49.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s show was up 2.6 percent in overall viewers and seven percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
