WWE SmackDown ticket sales update tonight as World Cup agreement reached

WWE SmackDown Logo England

WWE SmackDown will be taping tonight from the O2 Arena in London, England. One of the biggest stories surrounding the ticket sales was whether people would choose to go to the show or watch the England vs Ghana World Cup game tonight instead (which starts at 9pm local time).

With WWE and FIFA now coming to an agreement to show the World Cup match live from the O2 Arena itself, it looks like it could’ve had a positive effect on ticket sales. This will be the first time that the O2 has shown a football match live in the arena, so that’s a bit of a draw in and of itself.

The cheapest ticket (for Standard Admission) right now is £71.80, which again is actually quite a good price if you factor in getting to watch SmackDown AND getting to watch the England game in a never-before-broadcast setting.

WWE SmackDown Ticket Sales Tonight

According to the latest update from WrestleTix, 6,460 tickets have been distributed for the show. That number is up +2,311 since the last update (from 8 days ago), so while we can’t 100% confirm that the FIFA/WWE deal has caused the uptick, it certainly hasn’t hurt.

For context, the last time the company ran the building was for the 3/31/2025 episode of Raw, which saw 16,276 tickets distributed. Bear in mind that RAW often sells better in England due to the show airing live on Netflix as opposed to taped, and this was during the John Cena retirement tour.
