WWE SmackDown video highlights: Christmas street fight, new top contender

WWE got in the holiday spirit as a Christmas-themed match headlined last night’s SmackDown.

Ricochet teamed up with Braun Strowman to take down Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. The match included mistletoe, a ballerina, The New Day appearing as Nutcrackers, and Strowman powerbombing Kaiser through a table. At the finish, Strowman gave Vinci a powerslam and Ricochet followed with a splash off Strowman’s shoulders to get the victory.

The next challenger for the SmackDown Women’s Championship was also decided last night. Raquel Rodriguez overcame an injured arm to win a number one contender’s gauntlet match. The gauntlet included Rodriguez defeating Shayna Baszler, who Ronda Rousey introduced as a last-minute final entrant. Gonzalez will challenge for Rousey’s title on SmackDown next Friday.
