WWE finished building to WrestleMania Backlash on last night’s go-home edition of SmackDown.

SmackDown’s side of the WrestleMania Backlash card will see Roman Reigns defend his Universal Championship against Cesaro, Bianca Belair make her first SmackDown Women’s Championship defense against Bayley, and Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode put their SmackDown Tag Team titles on the line against Rey & Dominik Mysterio. On last night’s show, Cesaro faced Jimmy Uso, Belair and Bayley took part in a promo segment, and Ziggler faced Mysterio in a singles match.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team titles were also on the line last night. Natalya & Tamina defeated Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax to win the titles. Aside from one reign with the 24/7 Championship, this is the first title Tamina has held in her WWE career.

Plus, Big E, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens interrupting Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez’s Nigerian Medal of Honor ceremony led to a fatal four-way Intercontinental title match being made for next Friday’s SmackDown.
