WWE SmackDown viewership steady with post-WrestleMania episode

Friday night's SmackDown averaged 2.121 million viewers on Fox, virtually identical to the 2.119 million viewers the show averaged for its post-WrestleMania 37 episode the previous week.

As it usually does, SmackDown finished last among network programs in terms of total viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.54 rating, down 3.6 percent from the previous week. That ranked second on the networks behind ABC's Shark Tank and also beat everything on cable for the night.

In 18-34, SmackDown drew a 0.32 rating, up 10.3 percent from the previous week. That beat everything on the networks and was tied for second on all of television on Friday night. SmackDown tied one of the two NBA games on ESPN and finished behind the other NBA game.

Year-over-year, SmackDown was up 5.8 percent in overall audience. It was also up eight percent in 18-49 and up 6.7 percent in 18-34.
