WWE star Becky Lynch becomes a United States citizen

This is a massive few-week stretch in the life of Becky Lynch.

Lynch is heading to WrestleMania 40 to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. Before that, Lynch’s book “The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl” will be released on March 26. Lynch was also a guest at the White House over the weekend for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Another milestone was added on Monday with Lynch officially becoming a United States citizen. Michael Cole announced during Raw that Lynch had passed her citizenship test.

Lynch also addressed the news after Raw went off the air, telling the crowd that she had become an American citizen as of a few hours ago.

The 37-year-old Lynch (real name Rebecca Quin) is originally from Ireland. She resides in the United States with her husband Seth Rollins (Colby Lopez) and their daughter Roux.

In the main event of Raw last night, Lynch defeated Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match. The full match can be watched below:

Ripley made her way out to the ring after the Last Woman Standing match and went face-to-face with Lynch.

WrestleMania 40 is being held in Philadelphia on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. WWE has yet to announce which night Ripley vs. Lynch will be taking place on.
