WWE WrestleMania 42 in-ring start time clarified
An update is available regarding when WWE WrestleMania 42 will begin.
WWE sent an email to ticket holders on Thursday stating that the show will now start at 2:30 p.m. Pacific. The change was also reflected on WWE’s website. The event had previously been listed as starting at 4:00 p.m.
On Friday, Bryan Alvarez provided further clarification, noting that the in-ring portion of WrestleMania will not begin until 3 p.m. local time, even though the official start time is currently listed as 2:30 p.m.
Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X:
“WrestleMania official local start time for in-ring action is 3 PM, not 2:30.”
The updated start time comes during the same week that WWE announced NXT Stand & Deliver will not take place during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas this year. Instead, the NXT premium live event will be held in Chesterfield, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis, on Saturday, April 4. The show has traditionally taken place over WrestleMania weekend in the same host city. Since 2022, it has been held on Saturday afternoon of Mania weekend.
