Ludwig Kaiser gives injury update on WWE Raw
WWE’s Ludwig Kaiser says he has broken ribs.
Kaiser announced the injury on Monday’s WWE Raw in a video package. Kaiser was legitimately injured in a match against Bron Breakker on the June 24 Raw, with some reports indicating that it caused him to be pulled from the final men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match on this week’s show.
In the video, Kaiser attributed the injury to Sheamus interfering in the match, setting up a program between the two for when Kaiser returns from injury. Kaiser defeated Sheamus on the June 3 Raw in their last meeting.
Sheamus hit Kaiser with a Brogue Kick on the floor during the match with Breakker last week, causing a DQ. Kaiser was holding his ribs throughout the contest prior to the interference from Sheamus. The actual injury appeared to occur while taking a clothesline from Breakker over the announce table:
