WWE’s Maria & Mike Kanellis welcome birth of second child
Maria Kanellis (Maria Kanellis-Bennett) and Mike Kanellis (Mike Bennett) have welcomed the birth of their second child.
Maria and Mike revealed today that their baby boy was born on Monday, with Maria writing: “Carver Mars Bennett arrived yesterday 2/3/2020 at 3:07pm. 8 pounds and 20 and 1/2 inches. We are so in love!!”
Maria’s pregnancy was first announced on an episode of Raw last July. It was used as part of a storyline that was eventually dropped, with Maria humiliating Mike and questioning whether he was the father of the baby.
Both Maria and Mike signed new five-year deals with WWE last June. In October, Mike posted a statement announcing that he had requested his release from the company. He wrote that wrestling one night a week wasn’t going to cut it for him and he wasn’t okay with just collecting a paycheck.
Mike returned to the ring last month and has been teaming with Tony Nese on NXT house shows.
Maria and Mike’s daughter — Fredrica “Freddie” Moon Bennett — was born in April 2018.
