WWE’s Ricochet & Samantha Irvin get engaged
WWE couple Ricochet (real name Trevor Mann) and Samantha Irvin (Samantha Johnson) are now engaged to be married.
The couple revealed their engagement in an Instagram post on Tuesday. Ricochet wrote:
She said YES! When you find that one person. The one person that when you close your eyes you could never visualize life without them… you keep them close to your heart. Now we are closer than ever. @samanthairvinwwe I love you so much
Ricochet and Irvin are both part of WWE SmackDown. Irvin, who joined the WWE broadcast team in 2021 after previously being a singer on “America’s Got Talent,” is SmackDown’s ring announcer.
The romantic relationship between Ricochet and Irvin was mentioned during the Christmas week edition of SmackDown in December. When Ricochet was laid out by Imperium during a Miracle on 34th Street Fight, Braun Strowman had Irvin kiss Ricochet under the mistletoe so that he would wake up.
Ricochet has already been confirmed as an entrant for this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match. He defeated Top Dolla in a Royal Rumble qualifying match on SmackDown last Friday.
