WWE’s Sheamus undergoes shoulder surgery
Former World Champion Sheamus has now undergone surgery following his ongoing absence from televised WWE programming.
The update was earlier shared by his wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, on social media. She uploaded a video of the couple arriving at the Birmingham Surgery Center in Birmingham, Alabama, a facility often visited by WWE talent for medical procedures.
“When I told my husband I wanted to go on one last trip before the end of the year, this is NOT what I meant. From the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the Trevi Fountain in Rome to La Sagrada Família in Barcelona to… the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama — I’m honestly just happy to travel with him.”
As per PWInsider, he underwent surgery on his shoulder on Tuesday in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sheamus last performed on the November 17th episode of WWE RAW alongside John Cena and Rey Mysterio against The Judgment Day. Following this, he was also taken out of the The Last Time is Now tournament on November 21st due to the injury.
He had previously advanced in the tournament by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura in the first round on November 10th, 2025.
As of now, there are currently no confirmed updates on the 47-year-old’s in-ring return timeline.
